Growing Academic Potential- ACES Scholarship

The scholarship will support:
1. Full-time students in the ACES program who:
2. Are registered during fall and intend to earn their AA degree in two-three years;
3. Transfer immediately to a BA/BS degree program offered at the Universities at Shady Grove to be completed in the next two years;
4. Are in good standing within the ACES program, including school attendance, ACES program participation, and a mid-range grade point average between 2.0 and 3.2 when accepted as a first-year scholarship recipient;
5.Are from families who qualify for FARMS (Free and Reduced Meals) or have other documented evidence of financial need;
6. Have submitted the FAFSA financial aid form on time and received all the federal/state and local grants they are eligible for that year;
7. Share his/her written statement of their aspirations and their educational and career goals.
8. If a scholarship recipient elects to withdraw from the ACES program, the student forfeits their future scholarship awards.
