Lillian C. Zugby ACES Pathway Champions Scholarship

Will support students who:
1. First-year participant in the ACES program at Montgomery College and intends to earn an associate’s degree within two-three years;
2. Plans to transfer immediately to a BA/BS degree program offered at the Universities at Shady Grove to be completed in the next
two years;
3. Remains in good standing within the ACES program and must meet minimum GPA requirements for his/her chosen transfer major;
4. The same recipient will continue to receive this scholarship at MC and USG, as long as the student meets the criteria;
5. In addition to scholarships, the recipient may receive support to meet textbook costs (approximately $1,500 for every 30 credits) at both institutions and to pay for up to two developmental courses at Montgomery College;
6. ACES Pathway Champions Scholars qualify for support for summer and winter term credit classes at both MC and USG, if they choose
to take classes that are part of their ACES degree program track;
7. ACES Pathway Champions Scholars may use scholarship funds to repeat any course once, if needed.
8. If a scholarship recipient elects to withdraw from the ACES program or if he or she transfers to a program not housed at the USG campus, then the student forfeits their future scholarship awards. In that case, the Montgomery College Foundation may make an award to another recipient.
