John O'Neill Memorial Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship supports students who:

1. Are U.S. citizens who reside in Montgomery County at the time of the award
2. Have financial need
3. Are taking credit courses in pursuit of a degree.
4. Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0

Eligible applicants shall be identified by one of two criteria, in the following priority order: completion of the Gateway to College program (high school diploma) or by having earned a GED certificate (high school diploma equivalency).

If there are no eligible applicants who meet the immediately preceding criteria, then awards shall be made to any applicant who is enrolling in the fire science and emergency services program or, if there are still no eligible applicants, then to any applicant enrolling in the health sciences.
